Something really cool just happened. One Jump won the Scape Indie Winter Challenge 2026. It's the first gaming contest I've ever entered, and it just turned into the first publishing deal too.
What the game is
The working title is One Jump. It's a turn based co-op platformer built around one rule. Each player gets exactly one jump, and only one, until they touch the ground again. That single constraint ends up shaping everything else about how a level gets solved.
One rule. Infinite moments.
Why the rule works
Limiting the players that hard creates immediate teamwork problems and clean moments of surprise. A simple movement rule becomes puzzle logic, timing pressure, and co-op communication at once.
So grateful to Bastian Geissler, Casey Al-Kaisy, Johan TengÄ, Christoph Pantea-Becher, and the whole Scape team for this one.
More soon.
